The day happens once. You only get to be in one place at a time.
While you are talking to one person, something is happening somewhere else. A look across the room. Your parents laughing. A hand on a shoulder. A conversation you never heard. The photographs and films are there to give those moments back to you.

The photographs hold a moment. Film gives it a voice.
The way someone said your name. The pause before a speech. The room getting louder as the night goes on. Film keeps the parts of the day that a still image cannot, without asking the day to perform for it.

Prepared enough that you can forget about the camera.
I have spent more than twenty years working across photography, filmmaking, creative direction and production. On a wedding day, that experience has one job: to make things feel easy for you. I will know the plan, read the room and step in when it helps, so you can stay with the people in front of you.
How I work →Some memories want to be still. Others need sound.

One conversation, one visual approach and both ways of remembering the day.

A few things worth knowing before we talk.
Will we spend hours posing?+
No. There is room for a few considered portraits, but I do not want the photographs to become the thing you remember doing. I will give direction when it helps, keep it simple and get you back to the people you came to celebrate with.
Can we book photography and film together?+
Yes. It is the option I recommend when you want both. The day is planned once, the visual approach is shared and the photography and film are made to work together rather than around each other.
How much direction do you give?+
Enough to make a strong photograph when a moment needs a little help. Otherwise I stay observant and let the day move. The balance changes from wedding to wedding, which is why the conversation beforehand matters.
Do you travel?+
Yes. I am based around Cheltenham and the Cotswolds and work across the UK and further afield. Send me the date and place and I will make the travel side clear from the start.
