Lemon Water

Recently, I’ve been trying to get a little bit more healthy & one of the ways I wanted to do that was to make sure I was drinking more water.

I hardly ever used to drink any, choosing tea or juice all the time, but I came across a way to get more water down me from the wonderful world of the internet.


Apparently, a squeeze of half a lemon into a glass of warm water works wonders first thing in the morning – it’s working for me so far – it’s hydrating and I’ve definitely noticed that my stomach feels less bloated.

It kinda reminds me of drinking Lemsip when I’ve got a cold and because of that, it feels as though I’m getting all the good vitamins into my system.

On top of that, I’m feeling more energized and motivated to get on with my work & the workout regime that I’ve set myself recently.

Once I’ve used the half a lemon for my morning drink, I add it to a jug of water that I leave in the fridge which keeps me going for the rest of the day – perfect!

The only downside is the acidic properties of lemon can damage your teeth so if you’re planning on drinking lemon water, always use a straw!
